After waking up and realizing that spring break has officially begun and spending last night thinking about all the house projects I've committed myself to over this break, I've made some new decisions. I think I'm skipping the painting. It will require too much time and after looking through my house-piration ideas, I feel like the colors I have might work really well. For the most part, I keep coming back to more neutral walls and then big pops of bold, bright, sunny colors in the accessories and decorations.
I need an amazing rug. I need a big, poufy ottoman and I need the oversized mirror with decorative details. Need. These things will make huge impact. I think I should also think artwork but I haven't figure that part of yet.
I feel that sticking with these things will also enable me to work on my patio area a little faster. I am really excited for this because I always say I'm going to do it and never do. Hopefully, like I've said, this year will be the year.
Off to Home Depot and Ikea I go...
